This web page lists suppliers providing chemicals. Chemicals used in biomedical laboratories cover a broad range of reagent types, including media, sera, enzyme/protein inhibitors, activators, and substrates, fixatives, stains, resins, buffers, antibiotics, and cell culture supplements.
Chemical companies, which are not listed below, but have been cited in the literature, include Avantik [1], Welgene [2], Active Biochem [3], Peptide Institute [3], ChemScene [3], Cambridge Isotope Laboratories [4], ST Pharm Co Ltd, Korea [4], Arch Bioscience [4], TCI America [4], Princeton BioMolecular Research (Opsinamide, AA92593) [5], Focus Biomolecules [6], Chem Impex International [7], Axon Medchem (Gsk3i, Chir99021) [8], Acros Organics (naphthalene, AC180902500) [9], Matrix Innovations (Fmoc amino acids) [10] and Oakwood Chemical (PyAOP) [10].
The list is compiled from a systematic manual survey conducted by Labome covering over 60000 randomly selected publications (read how Labome selects the articles). This list includes suppliers whose products have been cited in at least one publications. Up to five most cited products for each supplier are displayed. Therefore, this list provides a comprehensive representation of high-quality suppliers in this product category. A small number of high-quality suppliers without any citation may also be included; they are not accompanied by any citation data. As the Labome survey is ongoing, this list is updated regularly to reflect the most recent data. Please note: a few companies have been purchased by or merged with other companies, they remain on the list if their brands are maintained by the new entities, such as Life Technologies, Sigma-Aldrich.
The total number of citations for chemicals is 19260 from 11185 publications.

Biontex operations focus on transfection, a field covering the introduction of genetic material (transfection) and proteins (proteofection) into eukaryotic cells. Biontex has the goal of continuously improving the success of this technology by advancing our synthetically produced carrier systems for nucleic acids and proteins and developing a variety of high-quality genetic engineering products. The current focus of our research is the development of all-new strategies to maximize the efficiency of transfection for any type of cells in vivo or in vitro by means of synthetic carrier components free from immunological effects. In addition to simple operation, we focus on high efficiency combined with low toxicity and low immunological effects. For this reason, all our reagents are suitable for use as valuable aids in biological and pharmaceutical research.

At Proteintech, we produce every single antibody we sell; we do not rely on or supply to any other antibody providers: our products are unique and we are 100% accountable for each one. We realize this accountability by validating in-house, providing extensive technical support and guaranteeing your success: in addition to helping you troubleshoot your experiment, we will offer you a full cash refund if you are in any way dissatisfied. We can guarantee satisfaction because we have confidence in our products, confidence cultivated by the science behind our antibodies: we make them using as much of the native protein as possible, and purifying them using affinity purification with the original antigen. We carry out antibody production over a 102-day period, which allows for better antigen fitting to MHC molecules and affinity maturation in the host. This approach results in higher affinity antibodies with greater sensitivity, which you can use in any application and in multiple species.
