iNOS/NOS Type II antibody | knockout validation | BD Transduction 610329

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on publications "STAT3 promotes IFNγ/TNFα-induced muscle wasting in an NF-κB-dependent and IL-6-independent manner", as cited below [1], and "Interferon-γ primes macrophages for pathogen ligand-induced killing via a caspase-8 and mitochondrial cell death pathway" for western blot knockout validation (figure 6h) [2]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Mouse monoclonal IgG2a

Company: BD Transduction

Antibody: iNOS/NOS Type II

Catalog number: 610329

Summary: Mouse monoclonal IgG2a against mouse iNOS (aa. 961-1144). Reacts with mouse by western blot , immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation. Not recommended for immunohistochemistry.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

Muscle (gastrocnemius) from wild‐type and iNOS KO mice.
