This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Ephrin-B3 coordinates timed axon targeting and amygdala spinogenesis for innate fear behaviour", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Rabbit polyclonal IgGl

Company: Invitrogen

Antibody: eB3

Catalog number: 34-3600

Summary: Rabbit polyclonal IgG against a synthetic peptide derived from an internal sequence of the mouse ephrin-B3 protein. Suitable to detect human and mouse in western blot Immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

amygdala samples from Efnb3+/+ and Efnb3−/− mouse mutants at P16. The tissue was homogenized and solubilized at 4 °C for 30 min in lysis buffer (1% CHAPS, 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 4.3 mM Na2HPO4, 1.4 mM KH2PO4, pH 7.2, 5 mM EDTA, 5 mM EGTA, 1 mM PMSF, 50 mM NaF, 1 mM Na3VO4 and protease inhibitors).

Primary incubation

1:1,000 dilution.
