Immunohistochemistry

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded myocardium.

0.5% Triton-X, 3% hydrogen peroxide, and 5% bovine serum albumin, respectively, for 1 hour at room temperature.

Laser scanning microscopy (Zeiss LSM 510 Meta).

Immunohistochemistry of desmoglein-2 (DSG2) in myocardium showed a complete absence of protein and junctional distribution of DSG2 in Dsg2mut/mut mice compared with WT mice. Scale bar: 10 μm. Please see Figure 2a in the article [1].
