This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "The function of TRADD in signaling through tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 and TRIF-dependent Toll-like receptors", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Rabbit polyclonal IgG

Company: Santa Cruz

Antibody: TRADD

Catalog number: H-278

Summary: Rabbit polyclonal IgG against an epitope corresponding to amino acids 35-312 mapping at the C-terminus of TRADD of human origin. Recommended for detection of TRADD of human ,mouse, rat and canine origin by western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence and ELISA.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

MEFs prepared from Tradd+/+ and Tradd−/− embryos. Cells were collected and lysed in M2 buffer (20mM Tris at pH 7, 0.5 % NP-40, 25mM NaCl, 3mM EDTA, 3mM EGTA, 2mM DTT, 0.5mM PMSF, 20mM β–glycerol phosphate, 1mM sodium vanadate, 1μg/ml leupeptin).

Detection

Enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL) reagent (Amersham).

Disclaimer

If the antibody described in this summary is a polyclonal antibody, since polyclonal antibodies are of limited quantity, please inquire the supplier whether any current polyclonal antibody with the same catalog number is exactly the same as the one described in this summary. Sometimes, different bleeds or different animals are used, usually with a different lot number. In such cases, the result in this summary may not apply to the new antibody with the same catalog number.
