TNF-R1 antibody | knockout validation | Cell Signaling 13377

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Kinase-independent functions of RIPK1 regulate hepatocyte survival and liver carcinogenesis", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Rabbit monoclonal IgG

Company: Cell Signaling

Antibody: TNF-R1

Catalog number: 13377

Summary: Rabbit monoclonal IgG against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the carboxy terminus of mouse TNF-R1 protein. Reacts with mouse and rat. Suitable for western blot.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

Liver tissue from 8-week-old control and Ripk1fl/fl Relafl/fl Tnfr1fl/fl Alfp-Cre mice . Tissues were homogenized using Precellys in protein lysis buffer supplemented with protease and phosphatase inhibitors (1 tablet per 10 ml lysis buffer, Roche).

5% milk/0.1% PBST.

Primary incubation

For 16 hours at 4°C.

Secondary incubation

Horseradish peroxidase–conjugated anti-rabbit (GE Healthcare).

Detection

Enhanced chemiluminescent detection substrate (GE Healthcare and Thermo Scientific).
