TBK1 antibody | knockout validation | Cell Signaling 3504S

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publications "Complex Regulation Pattern of IRF3 Activation Revealed by a Novel Dimerization Reporter System" [2] (discussed below), "Autophagy-Independent Lysosomal Targeting Regulated by ULK1/2-FIP200 and ATG9" [1] (see Figure 1 here or figure 5a in the article), and "cGAS and DDX41-STING mediated intrinsic immunity spreads intercellularly to promote neuroinflammation in SOD1 ALS model" for western blot knockout validation (figure 2l) [3]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Rabbit monoclonal IgG

Company: Cell Signaling

Antibody: TBK1

Catalog number: 3504S

Summary: Rabbit monoclonal IgG against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser645 of human TBK1/NAK. Reacts with human, mouse, rat, and monkey. Suitable for western blot and immunoprecipitation.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

WT and TBK1-/- HEK293T cells. Cells were collected in Renilla or Triton X-100 lysis buffer (50 mM Tris-Cl pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, 1% Triton X-100, and 5% glycerol) containing complete protease inhibitors and phosphatase inhibitors (Roche).

Detection

ECL reagent (Millipore) and imaged using a ChemiDoc instrument (Bio-Rad).
