SEC22B antibody | knockout validation | Santa Cruz sc-101267

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "A Critical Analysis of the Role of SNARE Protein SEC22B in Antigen Cross-Presentation", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Mouse monoclonal IgG2a (lambda light chain)

Company: Santa Cruz

Antibody: SEC22B

Catalog number: sc-101267

Summary: Mouse monoclonal antibody against a partial recombinant protein mapping within amino acids 1-110 of human SEC22B. Recommended for detection of SEC22B of mouse, rat and human origin by western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence and ELISA.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

CD11c+ bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) and splenic dendritic cells (DCs) from control floxed and Sec22-KO mice.

Primary incubation

1:200 dilution overnight at 4°C.

Secondary incubation

1:10,000 dilution anti-mouse antibody conjugated to HRP (Santa Cruz, sc-2005) for 1 hour at room temperature.

Detection

SuperSignal ECL substrate (Thermo Scientific).

Figure

Western blot measures SEC22B protein expression in MACS-enriched CD11c+ BMDCs and splenic DCs from CD11c-Cre Sec22fl/fl mice (KO) compared to CD11c-wt Sec22bfl/fl mice (FL). Please see Figure 1e in the article [1].
