Runx2 (Cbfa1) antibody | knockout validation | MBL D130-3

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Deletion of Runx2 in condylar chondrocytes disrupts TMJ tissue homeostasis", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Mouse monoclonal IgG2b

Company: MBL

Antibody: Runx2 (Cbfa1)

Catalog number: D130-3

Summary: Mouse monoclonal IgG2b against recombinant Runx2. Reacts with mouse and human. Suitable for western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry and ELISA.

Validation Method

Immunohistochemistry

Sample

Control and Runx2-KO temporomandibular joint cartilage from mice.

Primary incubation

1:200 dilution at 4°C overnight.

Figure

The IHC results showed that Runx2 expression was detected in proliferative (red arrowheads) and hypertrophic (blue arrowheads) chondrocytes in Cre− control mice, while Runx2 expression was undetectable in these regions in Runx2Agc1CreER KO mice (right panel). Please see Figure 3a in the article [1].
