PMS2 antibody | knockout validation | BD Biosciences 556415

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "An intact Pms2 ATPase domain is not essential for male fertility", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Mouse IgG1, κ

Company: BD Biosciences

Antibody: PMS2

Catalog number: 556415

Summary: Mouse monoclonal antibody against recombinant human PMS2. Reacts with human and mouse by western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence.

Western blot

Sample

WT and Pms2-KO mouse thymi. Total protein was extracted from fresh or frozen tissue with Brij 150 Lysis buffer (0.01M Tris, 2mM EDTA, 0.15M NaCl, 1% Brij 97, 0.1% NP40, 25 nM Leupeptin, 25 nM Aprotinin, 25 nM AEBSF).

Primary incubation

1:500 dilution.

Secondary incubation

1:1,000 dilution goat anti-mouse HRP secondary antibody (Jackson ImmunoResearch).

Detection

Enhanced chemiluminescence (Perkin Elmer).
