Neuregulin-3 antibody | knockout validation | Santa Cruz sc-390171

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Controlling of glutamate release by neuregulin3 via inhibiting the assembly of the SNARE complex", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Mouse monoclonal IgG2a (kappa light chain)

Company: Santa Cruz

Antibody: Neuregulin-3

Catalog number: sc-390171

Summary: Mouse monoclonal IgG2a (kappa light chain) against amino acids 276-345 mapping within an N-terminal extracellular domain of human Neuregulin-3. Recommended for detection of Neuregulin-3 of mouse, rat and human origin by western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence and ELISA. Also reactive with additional species, including and equine and bovine.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

Hippocampus and cortex from control and Nrg3-KO mice. Brain tissues were homogenized in RIPA buffer (50 mM Tris·HCl, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM EDTA) containing 0.5% sodium deoxycholate, 0.1% SDS, 1 mM PMSF, 1 mM Na3VO4, 1 mM

NaF, 1 mM DTT, and protease inhibitor mixture.

Primary incubation

1:1,000 dilution.

Detection

Enhanced chemiluminescence (32106; Pierce).
