MTDH antibody | knockout validation | Santa Cruz sc-517220

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Metadherin enhances vulnerability of cancer cells to ferroptosis", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

MTDH antibody | knockout validation | Santa Cruz sc-517220 figure 1
Figure 1. WB: Using MDA-MB-231 cells, knocking out MTDH increased protein levels of SLC3A2 and GPx4, which were reversed by re-expression of MTDH. From [1].
Antibody information

Company: Santa Cruz

Antibody: MTDH

Catalog number: sc-517220

Summary: Mouse monoclonal IgG1 against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 378-579 of human MTDH. Recommended for detection of MTDH of human origin by western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry (paraffin), flow cytometry and ELISA.
