MSI2 antibody | knockout validation | Abcam ab76148

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Image-based detection and targeting of therapy resistance in pancreatic adenocarcinoma", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information

Rabbit monoclonal IgG

Company: Abcam

Antibody: MSI2

Catalog number: ab76148

Summary: Rabbit monoclonal IgG against a synthetic peptide derived from human MSI2. Reacts with human, mouse, and rat. Suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry (paraffin), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. Unsuitable for immunoprecipitation.

Validation Method

Immunohistochemistry

Sample

WT and Ms2 knockout KPf/fC mice. Pancreatic cancer tissues were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and paraffin embedded.

Blocking agent

TBS or PBS containing 0.1% Triton X100 (Sigma Aldrich), 10% goat or donkey serum (Sigma Aldrich), and 5% bovine serum albumin and 3% H2O2 for 15 minutes.

Primary incubation

1:500 dilution.

Secondary incubation

Biotinylated secondary antibodies (Vector Laboratories) was performed for 45 minutes at room temperature.

Detection

ImmPACT NovaRED Kit (Vector Laboratories) was used per manufacturer's protocol.
