CPSF6 antibody | knockout validation | Abcam ab175237 | Bethyl Laboratories A301-358A

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publications "A critical role for alternative polyadenylation factor CPSF6 in targeting HIV-1 integration to transcriptionally active chromatin", as cited below [1] and "MxB sensitivity of HIV-1 is determined by a highly variable and dynamic capsid surface" for western blot knockout validation (see [2] figure 2d). Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Antibody information
Abcam

Antibody: CPSF6 (N-term)

Catalog number: ab175237

Summary: Rabbit monoclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide within human CPSF6. It reacts with mouse, rat, and human proteins, and it is predicted to work with chicken, cow, and Xenopus laevis. It has been used in immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and western blot.

Bethyl Laboratories

Antibody: CPSF6 (C-term)

Catalog number: A301-358A

Validation Method

WB, Western blot

Sample

CPSF6 knockout clones from HEK293T or LKO cells. Cells were lysed for immunoblotting with a higher NaCl concentration of 500 mM and 0.1% SDS was included in the lysis buffer.
