Immunohistochemistry
Brains from control Camk2bf/f and conditional cell-specific Camk2b null mice. Brains were fixed in PFA and 40μm thick sagittal cryostat sections were processed as free-floating.
IHC: 1:2,000 dilution in PBS containing 2% NHS, 0.5% Triton-X 100 and 150 mM bovine serum albumin (BSA) and kept at 4 °C overnight for 48 hours.

IF: 1:1,000 dilution.
IHC: 1:200 dilution biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody (Vector Laboratories, Burlinghame, CA) in PBS containing 2% NHS, 0.5% Triton-X 100 and 150 mM bovine serum albumin (BSA) for 1 to 2 hours on room temperature.
IF: 1:200 dilution Cy3 rabbit secondary antibody 1 to 2 hours at room temperature.
IHC: Standard avidin-biotin-immunoperoxidase complex method (ABC, Vector Laboratories, USA) and 0.05% DAB as the chromogen.
