This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Kv2 Ion Channels Determine the Expression and Localization of the Associated AMIGO-1 Cell Adhesion Molecule in Adult Brain Neurons", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Mouse monoclonal IgG2
Company: NeuroMab
Antibody: AMIGO-1
Catalog number: 75-329
Summary: Mouse monoclonal IgG2b against mouse
AMIGO-1 (a.a. 395-493, cytoplasmic C-terminus). Reacts with mouse, human, and rat. Suitable for immunoblot, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry.
Immunohistochemistry
Brains from WT and AMIGO-1-KO mice. Following cryoprotection, all samples were frozen, and 30µm sections were generated using a freezing stage sliding microtome. Free-floating sections were processed for immunofluorescence.
10% goat serum in 0.1 M PB containing 0.3% Triton X-100 (vehicle) for 1 h.
Primary antibodies diluted in vehicle and incubated for 3 h at room temperature (RT).
Affinity-purified species and/or mouse IgG–subclass-specific goat secondary Abs (Manning et al., 2012) conjugated to Alexa Fluors (Molecular Probes/ThermoFisher).
Low-magnification images were acquired on a Zeiss AxioObserver Z1 microscope using a 10 × /0.5 NA Fluar objective and an AxioCam HRm digital camera, and reconstructed as tiled mosaics using Axiovision 4.0 (Carl Zeiss MicroImaging, RRID:S- ciRes_000111).
The same clone (L86A/37) is sold as BioLegend 822101, 822103, 822104; Neuromab 73-329, 75-329.
