ADRM1/ARM-1 antibody | knockout validation | Abcam ab157185

This is a knockout-validated antibody summary, based on the publication "Impact of Losing hRpn13 Pru or UCHL5 on Proteasome Clearance of Ubiquitinated Proteins and RA190 Cytotoxicity", as cited below [1]. Labome curates formal publications to compile a list of antibodies with unambiguous specificity within Validated Antibody Database (VAD).

Summary: Rabbit monoclonal IgG against a synthetic peptide corresponding to human ADRM1/ARM-1 (aa 100-200). Reacts with human. Suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry (paraffin), immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry.

Validation Method

Western blot

Sample

WT and ΔhRpn13 HCT116 cells .

Primary incubation

Diluted in 5% skim milk (LP0031B; Thermo Fisher Scientific) made in Tris-buffered saline with 0.1% Tween 20 (TBST) overnight.

Secondary incubation

HRP-conjugated rabbit (A4914; Sigma or 31463; Thermo Fisher Scientific) or IRDye 680LT (rabbit) and IRDye 800CW (rabbit) (LiCor).

Detection

Amersham Typhoon 5 scanner (GE) for infrared-tagged secondary antibodies or by addition of Pierce ECL chemiluminescent substrates (32106; Thermo Fisher Scientific) for horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated secondary antibodies.
