general description :
The Panorama(R) Antibody Microarray - Cell Signaling Kit is a well published proteomics tool that measures the relative level of protein expression (protein microarrays) in cell or tissue extracts and blood plasma or serum. The antibodies used are key cellular proteins with a special emphasis on cell signaling proteins. These antibodies represent molecular processes and families of proteins known to be involved with apoptosis, cell cycle, cytoskeleton, signal transduction and nuclear proteins.
antibody form :
(Fairly equal distribution of monoclonals and polyclonals)
species reactivity :
rat, mouse, human
features and benefits :
. Analysis, from sample prep to final result, is typically within one working day with streamlined sample preparation that is fairly universal for most sample inputs, to minimize variability. Use less sample input than typical electrophoresis, and much less than the equivalent analysis via Western Blot. All antibodies are available separately for more extensive analysis of your samples.
application :
The antibody array gives protein expression of hundreds of specific proteins at one time by directly labeling and recording two samples at equal concentrations, simultaneously on the array. Applications in which Panorama antibody arrays have been used include the differentiation of F9 cells, breast cancer samples, maintenance of human embryonic stem cell pluripotency and viability, and for differential protein expression in colorectal cancer.
