CD274, also known as B7-H1 and PD-1L, a cell surface glycoprotein, is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. CD274 is expressed constitutively on macrophages and dendritic cells, and is induced on activated T-cells, B-cells, endothelial cells and epithelial cells in response to interferons. CD274 has dual functions: inhibition of activated effector T cells and co-stimulation of naïve T cells. Usage Summary: Immunohistorchemistry: MBS240449 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
