Relevance :

CD139 is found on peripheral blood B cells, moncytes and granulocytes, and is weakly expressed on erythrocytes. It is also expressed on the smooth muscle of some blood vessels. Its function is not known. CD139 is a 228kD molecule expressed by germinal centre B cells, follicular dendritic cells and the follicular mantle. Smooth muscle of some blood vessels is also stained in some cases
