Relevance :
CD45 is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase that is present on all leukocytes. CD45 regulates the threshold of T cell antigen receptor (TCR) signaling through dephosphorylation of protein tyrosine kinases (e.g. Lck and Fyn). CD45RA is an isoform of the CD45 complex which is selectively expressed on B cells.
