Notes :

Cdc25 is very abundant in egg extracts. In mitiotic extracts Cdc25 is phosphorylated which slowers it’s migration in SDS gels. The epitope recognised by DG4 and DG9 is not present on the mitotic form of Cdc25. Presumably these antibodies recognise an unphosphorylated epitope. Phosphorylation masks the epitope and the antibody is unable to recognise Cdc25. The epitope recognised by DG6 and DG20 is present in all forms of Cdc25.
