Staphylococcus aureus are gram-positive bacteria that, although part of the normal flora of humans (nasal passages, skin and mucous membranes), have the potential to become opportunistic pathogens. S. aureus is a frequent cause of a wide range of infections and some bacterial strains have become resistant to many commonly used antibiotics. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. It is also suitable for Conjugation purposes. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Titer: Immunofluorescence (indirect): >1:800 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
