Pin1, a member of the parvulin family of peptidyl-prolyl isomerase (PPIase), has been implicated in the G2-M transition of the mammalian cell cycle (1-6). Pin1 is a small (18kD) protein with two distinct functional domains: an N-terminal WW domain and a C-terminal PPlase domain. Pin1 interacts with a series of mitotic phosphoproteins, including Plk1, cdc25C and cdc27, and is thought to act as a phosphorylationdependent PPlase for these target molecules (7-9). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
