Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoblot Analysis: 1:1000-1:5,000, detected tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins in RIPA lysates from EGF-stimulated human A431 carcinoma cells. EGF-stimulated cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with P4078-28A. Proteins were visualized using a chemiluminescence detection system. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control Included: A0001-55: A431 Cells, EGF-Stimulated is provided as a free positive antigen control for Western Blot. Aliquot as desired, refreeze immediately, and store at -20°C. The lysate is stable for 6 months at -20°C. Before use, add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for immunoblot analysis. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
