Phosphothreonine
Host :
mouse
Product Type :
Mab
Category :
Antibodies
Size1 :
100 ul
Clone # USB :
5H19
Isotype :
IgG1,k
Desc1 :
Phosphorylation of threonine residues is associated with many growth factors and oncogene protein kinases, and is important for cell signaling in activation, proliferation and differentiation.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:1000 to 1:5000, assayed against phosphothreonine conjugated BSA using IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xMo for detection.
Western Blot: 1:500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended secondary antibodies:
I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo
I1904-06H IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo
Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen :
Phosphothreonine conjugated to KLH
Specificity :
Reacts specifically with phosphothreonine. Shows minimal reactivity by ELISA and competitive ELISA with phosphoserine or phosphotyrosine. Reacts with free phospho-amino acid, phosphothreonine conjugated to carriers such as thyroglobulin or BSA, and detects the presence of phosphothreonine in proteins of both unstimulated and stimulated cell Reactivity is specific for phosphothreonine and minimal crossreactivity is observed against phosphoserine or phosphotyrosine lysates.
Purity :
Ascites
Form :
Supplied as a liquid, 0.01% sodium azide before the addition of glycerol to 40%. No buffer or stabilizers added. No stabilizing proteins added.
