Desc1 :

PEA-15 is a 15kD phosphoprotein expressed abundantly in astrocytes, fibroblasts and tissues including lung and eye. The protein has been shown to coordinate cell growth, death and glucose ultilization. The amino-terminal DED domain of PEA-15 mediates its binding to FADD or ERK and futher regulates the ERK and apoptosis pathways. PEA-15 can be phosphorylated at two serine residues, Ser104 and Ser116, located within the carboxy terminus. Phosphorylation at these sites regulates binding to ERK and FADD. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
