Ovalbumin (OA) from chicken egg white, in which it makes up about 60% of solids. OA is a globular monomer of molecular mass 45kD (1). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. Not suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1906 IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch I1906-10 IgY, Chicken-HRP Rb x Ch I1906-12 IgY, Chicken-FITC Rb x Ch I1906-14 IgY, Chicken-AP Rb x Ch Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from female Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
