Desc1 :

NY-ESO-1 is a member of the cancer/testis (CT) family of antigens. Cancer/testis antigens are expressed in a range of malignant neoplasmas such as melanoma and carcinomas of the breast, ovary and lung, but not in normal tissue except in testis. NY-ESO-1 is a classic CT antigen discovered during a SEREX analysis of esophageal cancer. It is a 22-23kD hydrophobic protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
