Leukocyte Associated Ig-like receptor 2 (LAIR2) is a secreted protein that contains one Ig-like domain, which shares 84% amino acid sequence homology with LAIR1. It lacks the transmembrane ITIM-containing cytoplasmic domains of LAIR1. The function of LAIR2 is not known. An alternate splice form of LAIR2 that shows a 17 amino acid deletion outside the Ig domain exists. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml. Flow Cytometry (Intracellular): 2.5ug/10e6 cells using Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
