HSD17B4 (17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 4) is a bifunctional enzyme that is involved in the peroxisomal beta-oxidation pathway for fatty acids. HSD17B4 catalyzes the formation of 3-ketoacyl-CoA intermediates from both straight-chain and 2-methyl-branched-chain fatty acids. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: H9117-83D1 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
