Helicobacter pylori is known to cause peptic ulcers and chronic gastritis in human. It is associated with duodenal ulcers and may be involved in development of adenocarcimona and low grade lymphoma of mucosa associated lymphoid tissue in the stomach. Comments: This antibody is excellent for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:500-1:2000 for 30 min. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Helicobacter pylori-infected tissue Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
