Granulocytes are a category of white blood cells characterized by the presence of granules in their cytoplasm. They are also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN or PML) because of the varying shapes of the nucleus, which is usually lobed into three segments. In common parlance, the term polymorphonuclear leukocyte often refers specifically to neutrophil granulocytes, the most abundant of the granulocytes. Granulocytes or PMN are released from the bone marrow by the regulatory complement proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50-1:100 for 30 minutes at RT. Note: No special pretreatment is required for formalin/paraffin tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil and lymph node Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Specificity :

Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
