CD37, also known as TSPAN26, is a 40-45kD palmitoylated tetraspanin superfamily glycoprotein that is expressed by lymphocytes and myeloid cells. CD37 directly associates with dectin-1 on macrophages and stabilizes cell surface dectin-1 expression. It also inhibits T cell activation and proliferation by limiting T cell receptor signaling. Human CD37 shares 80% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat CD37. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml; Use 10ul to label 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
