Desc1 :

The CD13 antigen is present on most cells of myeloid origin, including granulocytes and monocytes in normal peripheral blood. CD13 is not expressed on B-cells, T-cells, platelets or erythrocytes. Expression of this antigen is greater on monocytes than on granulocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Direct ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. Use 10ul to label 1-2.5x10e5 cells in total reaction volume ≤200ul. Tested for use using U937 cells. Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human CD13 is ~0.3ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human CD13 is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Immunoprecipitation: Precipitates CD13 from conditioned media of transfected NSO cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
