Desc1 :

Bax is a Bcl-2 family pro-apoptotic protein. Bax promotes cell death by forming homodimers, which can be blocked by forming heterodimers with Bcl-2 or Bcl-XL. Bax has three different isoforms, which are Bax-a, b, and g. The 21kD Bax-a is the most common form in most of the cells and tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
