Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Titer: Immunofluorescence: > 1:8,000 ELISA: > 1:5,000 Western Blot: >1:1,000 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen :

Purified, disrupted Adenovirus Type 5 virions.

Specificity :

Recognizes numerous Adenovirus proteins including hexon. Reactive with types 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7a, 8, 31, 40 and 41. Does not crossreact with Parainfluenza 1-3, Influenza A and B, hMPV or Rhinovirus (type 16). Uninfected Cell Reactivity: Negative against Hep-2, LLCMK2 and Vero cells by indirect immunofluorescence.
