The protein encoded by this gene is a soluble class II cytokine receptor. This protein has been shown to specifically bind to interleukin 22 (IL22), block the interaction of IL22 with its cell surface receptor, and thus inhibit IL22 activity. This protein functions as an IL22 antagonist, and may be important in the regulation of inflammatory response. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described. Applications:. Suitable for use in Western Blot and FLISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions:. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability:. Store product at 4 C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
