Desc1 :

Mutations in this gene lead to tuberous sclerosis complex. Its gene product is believed to be a tumor suppressor and is able to stimulate specific GTPases. The protein associates with hamartin in a cytosolic complex, possibly acting as a chaperone for hamartin. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, FLISA. Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 1:100 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C with glycerol. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Do not freeze APC conjugates. Light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
