KLF4, which is also known as the gut-enriched Kruppel-like factor (GKLF), is a zinc finger-containing transcription factor that belongs to the Kruppel-like family of transcription factors. KLF4 plays important roles during the proliferation and differentiation of epithelial cells. Especially, it is found predominantly in gut and has been shown to be expressed during growth arrest. KLF4 is also involved in cell cycle control since expression of KLF4 inhibits DNA synthesis by blocking the G1/S phase of the cell cycle. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry and FLISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
