This gene encodes one of six different actin proteins. Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity. This actin is a major constituent of the contractile apparatus and one of the two nonmuscle cytoskeletal actins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:200~4000 Immunohistochemistry 1:50~100 Immunofluorescence 1:100~500 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
