This gene encodes one of six different actin proteins. Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity. This actin is a major constituent of the contractile apparatus and one of the two nonmuscle cytoskeletal actins.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:200~4000
Immunohistochemistry 1:50~100
1:100~500
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C with the addition of glycerol. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Do not freeze alkaline phosphatase conjugates which could result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Light sensitive.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
