The transcription factor Foxp family includes Foxp1, Foxp2, and Foxp3. The Foxp3 (50KDa)plays a key role in CD4(+) CD25(+) regulatory T cell function and represents a specific marker for these cells. Despite its strong association with regulatory T cell function, in humans little is known about the frequency of CD4(+) CD25(+) cells that express FOXP3 protein nor the distribution of these cells in vivo. FOXP3 may be a master regulatory gene and a more specific marker of regulatory T cells than other T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Immunocytochemistry (IF): 1:200-1:1000 ELISA: 1:10,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
