Tumor Necrosis Factor-beta (TNF-b) is a potent lymphoid factor that exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. Human TNF-b is an 18.6kD protein containing 171aa residues. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Neutralization: 2-5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
