TGF-b (Transforming growth factor-beta superfamily members are critical regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, morphogenesis, and pathogenesis. TGF-beta receptor is a serine/threonine kinase receptor complex that consists of two distinct transmembrane proteins known as type I and type II receptors. In response to ligand binding, the type II receptors form a stable complex with the type I receptors allowing phosphorylation and thus activation of the type I receptor kinases. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
