Reduces light-induced circadian phase delays. Exhibits protective effect in lysolecithin-induced demyelination model. When administered prior to ischemia, improves functional recovery of heart in a mouse model of ischemia-reperfusion injury. Induces hypothermia following icv administration in mice.
