Inhibits the Warburg effect and lipogenesis by down-regulation of LXR-mediated gene expression. Selectively reduces cell viability and induces apoptosis in cancer cell lines in vitro . Suppresses hepatic steatosis and inhibits growth of tumor xenografts in mice.
