Suppresses production of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland, which inhibits ovulation. Exhibits antiproliferative effects and displays efficacy against hormone-sensitive cancers in vivo . Also exhibits anxiolytic and antidepressant activity in vivo .
