Cardamonin is a chalone analog that display anti-inflammatory activity. Inhibits NO and PGE2 production from LPS- and IFN- -induced RAW cells and inhibits TXB2 production via the COX-1 and COX-2 pathways. Inhibits NF- B activation via inhibition of I B degradation and phosphorylation, I B kinase activation and NF- B nuclear translocation.
