Product Description :

14-3-3 β/ζ is a protein encoded by the YWHAZ gene which is approximately 27,7 kDa. 14-3-3 β/ζ is localised to the cytoplasm and melanosome. It is involved in the activation of cAMP-dependent PKA, development slit-robo signalling and activation of BH3-only proteins. It is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signalling pathways. It binds to a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. Binding generally results in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner. 14-3-3 β/ζ is expressed in the nervous system, intestine, skin, blood and eye. STJ90562 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This primary antibody specifically binds to endogenous 14-3-3 β/ζ protein which only binds about S184/186 when S184/186 is phosphorylated.
